SILVERTIDE To Release 'Try Try Try' Single

June 4, 2014

SILVERTIDE will release a new single, "Try Try Try", in September. The track's arrival will coincide with the 10th anniversary of the release of the band's debut album, "Show & Tell", which has sold close to 400,000 copies.

"If you love rock music with sexy guitars then we have it in spades," says SILVERTIDE lead singer Walt Lafty. "My only regret is that this song wasn't on our first record."

"Try Try Try" will be available for pre-order through iTunes soon and will come with a free behind-the-scenes video for purchasers. The single was produced by David Ivory (HALESTORM, THE ROOTS) and was mixed by Steve LaFashia.

Hailing from Philadelphia, SILVERTIDE is comprised of lead singer Walt Lafty, lead guitarist Nick Perri (formerly of SHINEDOWN),rhythm guitarist Mark Melchiorre, bassist Brian Weaver, and drummer Kevin Frank.

Originally formed in 2001, the band has opened for such renowned acts as VAN HALEN, MÖTLEY CRÜE, FOO FIGHTERS, KINGS OF LEON, ZZ TOP and METALLICA. The group has also made its presence felt in film and videogames, as a pair of BOB DYLAN covers ("Maggie's Farm" and "It Ain't Me, Babe") were featured on the soundtrack to the M. Night Shyamalan film "Lady In The Water", while their tune "Blue Jeans" was featured on the Rock Band videogame.
